HOW TO PUMP

Everything you need to know to reach #1 and claim your SOL

THE BASICS
🎮
CONTROLS
Use ← → arrow keys or A / D to move left and right. On mobile — tap the left or right half of the screen. Your character jumps automatically when landing on a platform.
🏆
OBJECTIVE
Jump as high as possible to score points. Your score = how high you've climbed. Be the #1 player on the leaderboard when the round ends to win SOL rewards from the creator fee pool.
⏱️
ROUNDS
Each round has a timer shown top-right. When it hits zero, the round ends. The top player wins the reward. A new round starts immediately — anyone can take the crown.
☠️
DEATH
Fall below the bottom of the screen and you die. Your score is submitted automatically. Jump back in immediately — there's no penalty for dying.
📊
SCORING
Score increases as you climb higher. Only your best score per round counts — if you die and come back, your previous best is kept on the leaderboard.
🎨
SKINS
Unlock new characters as your all-time best score grows. Cupsey unlocks at 5,000 points. Mitch unlocks at 10,000. Skins are cosmetic only — no gameplay effect.
PLATFORMS
NORMAL
Standard green platform. Bounce off it as many times as you want — it never breaks. The most common type.
MOVING
Purple platform that slides left and right. Time your landing carefully. Gets faster at higher scores.
BROKEN
Brown crumbling platform. Breaks the moment you land on it — you only get one jump. No items spawn on broken platforms.
DISAPPEARING
White/translucent platform. Starts fading as soon as you land. Jump off quickly before it vanishes completely.
EXPLODING
Yellow-red platform. Explodes after a short delay when you land. Get off fast — the explosion can also kill you if you're caught in it.
FLOOR
The starting platform at the bottom. Full-width, indestructible. If you fall back to it after flying high, you lose all your score progress.
POWER-UPS
SPRING

Coil spring sitting on a platform. Bounces you ~35% higher than a normal jump. First power-up you'll see.
TRAMPOLINE
↑↑↑
Blue trampoline. Bigger bounce than a spring. Great for climbing fast early on. Unlocks above 1,000 pts.
PROPELLER
↑↑↑↑
Straps to your character and flies you upward for several seconds. Hold a direction to steer. Unlocks above 3,000 pts.
JETPACK
↑↑↑↑↑
Extended flight upward. More powerful than a propeller and lasts longer. Rare. Unlocks above 5,000 pts.
ROCKET
MAX
Blasts you straight up at insane speed. The biggest score booster in the game. Very rare. Unlocks above 8,000 pts.
ENEMIES
TOKABU
Green bouncing monster that roams platforms. Land on its head from above to kill it and get a boost upward. If it touches you from the side — you die.
JUMP ON HEAD TO KILL
WHITE WHALE
Large flying whale that drifts across the screen. Land on top of it to bounce to safety. Touch it from the side and you're done. Appears at higher altitudes.
BOUNCE OFF ITS BACK
UFO PILL
Floating pump.fun pill with a tractor beam underneath. Avoid the green beam — getting caught pulls you in and kills you. Dodge around it from the sides.
AVOID THE BEAM
BLACK HOLE
Swirling vortex that pulls you in if you get too close. Keep your distance — it has a gravity field around it. The closer you get, the stronger the pull. Only appears in space biome.

Dark green forest. Silhouetted trees on the edges. Glowing fireflies drift around you.

5K – 10K
Blue-grey rocky terrain. Mountain silhouettes, snow caps, drifting clouds.

10K – 20K
Deep dark blue. Stars begin appearing. The atmosphere thins out. Things get serious.
🛸
UPPER ATMO
20K – 35K
Almost black. Stars flicker and shimmer. UFOs and black holes appear more often.
🌠
SPACE
35K+
Pure black void. Bright stars and colorful nebulae. The most dangerous biome.
PRO TIPS

Watch the markers on the walls. The left wall shows your all-time personal best. The right wall shows top scores from other players. Use them to gauge how far you are from the record.

Don't panic when a round ends. If a round ends mid-game, "ROUND OVER" appears and your character dies automatically — but your score is NOT submitted for that death to prevent abuse.

Rockets are worth waiting for. A single rocket at 8K+ can blast you 5–10K points higher in seconds. If you see one, plan your approach — don't waste it by dying right after.

Moving platforms get faster over time. In higher biomes, purple platforms move at full speed. Anticipate where they'll be, not where they are — lead your landing.

PUMP PILL beam is directional. The tractor beam shoots straight down. The UFO itself is safe to pass under at an angle — just don't hover directly beneath it.

You can kill Tokabu for a free boost. Jumping on an enemy head gives you a small upward velocity bonus — useful in tight spots where platforms are sparse.
